Expectations We Bring to Marriage

Chip Ingram is an incredible Bible teacher. He has pastored for over 25 years and now has a popular national radio show. Relationships and marriage are his specialties and I just love the practical, Biblical insight that he gives. Check out this 3-minute story about Chip and his wife, Theresa. It's really cool to see the victories married couples can have if they are committed to making it work.

Any time you find someone with Chip's expertise, it's usually because he has journeyed through some difficult times himself. Watching his story reaffirms my desire to work on my own marriage. Tell me some ways that you work on your marriage? What areas do you find great success in? What areas do you need help in?

Chip continues his teaching by helping us understand that although marriage is hard work, it comes with great rewards.

Chip said that we need to work on our marriages. How can you work on your marriages as a group? What can you take away from this session that you can use with your group?
