The Importance of Women in Leadership

Page 1

The Bible tells us repeatedly that we are uniquely made in the image of God, with gifts and talents to be used for His glory. How are you using your gifts and talents? How are you encouraging others to use their skills and talents? Bonnie Wurzbacher explains the importance of women exercising their gift of leadership.

Bonnie served as a Senior Vice President for The Coca-Cola Company, which gave her the responsibility for a global customer portfolio worth $1.6 billion. She is a passionate advocate for women in leadership and advancing God’s purposes in the world through successful, ethical, and sustainable businesses.

Bonnie gave statistics that showed the enormous amount of women contributing to the workforce and four reasons that leadership should reflect that number.
  1. Women need good role models.
  2. Women see unmet needs.
  3. Women bring different perspectives.
  4. Women in leadership show that an organization reflects the culture.

Step up to the gifts and skills that God gave you to lead—because that's the way you're wired.

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
