Cheryl Bachelder

Cheryl Bachelder is the CEO of AFC Enterprises, Inc., the parent company of Popeyes® Louisiana Kitchen. Cheryl has more than 30 years of experience in brand building, operations and management at companies including KFC, Domino's Pizza, RJR Nabisco, The Gillette Company and The Procter & Gamble Company. Cheryl creates work environments where people can do their best work, and after realizing strong business results for Popeyes, she added a fifth pillar to the brand road map—Creating a Culture of Servant Leaders—to inspire leaders to reach their full potential. 

Cheryl believes in a passionate, purposeful approach to work where the focus is on coaching and developing people to be leaders with competence and character. Guided by the servant leadership thinking of Robert Greenleaf, she builds highly collaborative teams with big ambitions for the enterprise, not themselves. These teams work in close partnership and alignment with franchisees to deliver exceptional marketplace results. Cheryl and her husband, Chris, have three daughters (one adopted from Russia at age 11).
